Dear Collectors and Friends,

So much of the meaning of my existence is the impact that my works have on people. The relationships that I have formed with so many of my clients fill me with joy and purpose knowing that my sculptures and what they represent make a positive difference in their lives. There are several experiences that I’ve had that moved me to an even deeper understanding of this impact. I would like to share one of those with you here.
I was at a show I participate in every year in Manhattan when a woman by the name of Lori walked up to our exhibit. She responded very strongly to all my pieces exclaiming that they were all amazing and beautiful. However there was one that she was particularly drawn to, the Angel, “Winged Victory”. I began to talk to her and became very engaged in a long conversation in which I learned about her family. She had just experienced the death of her mother after a slow decline in her health that lasted years and had completely dis-abilitated her. Lori had left her job and just about everything else in her life to take care of her. The piece impacted her so profoundly that it truly helped her healing. Through tears she explained to me that she saw her mother in the piece and it gave her confirmation that her mother was happy in heaven. I would like to share a few of her words with you from the email that she sent me after the show.

“…Your sculpture is a heavenly body, it let me know not only is she there happy, she is no longer in a broken vessel she has been set free from decay and released into a Devine heavenly body. (Victory) has won…

Thank you for blessing me. I so needed this. It was like a hug from heaven from my mom.
THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!…”

To this day I continue to receive wonderfully positive and joyful emails from her every year. I feel truly blessed to be able to enrich and impact people’s lives, having these confirmations from my clients/friends is the richest gratification in my world and a big part of why I create the work I do.

Thank you to all of you!
